Did you know that Dragonlings are my own special creations? No one else has this name as a trademark.

Each one of my dragonlings is hand suclpted. And no two are the same. Not even duplicates of the same one!

Many people ask me how I can sculpt them so small and how I get such great details into them. Try using tiny tools, with a magnifying glass. That's what I do!

My smallest Micro sized Dragonling was less than 1/2" tall!

Welcome to my New Website!

I've decided to create a website just for my wee Dragonling sculptures... and for their fans! I hope that you find something you like here.

I have been making Dragonlings for a couple of years. Offering them on http://www.ebay.com and http://www.cdhm.org  I will also have them available for custom ones at www.etsy.com Be sure to check them out! At EBay be sure to do an advanced search for Dragonlings and at CDHM look in fnatasy mythical section. You can find many more things in my gallery there. I am still builing my store at etsy. But look for ddruss and you can find some interesting things I offer.

Sculpting dragonlings....

Sculpted from polymer clays. Each one is a one of a kind creation. I use FIMO, Premo, Sculpey III or Cernit to creat them. I take a lump of clay and build it over a wire armature. Then I start to work on the basic shape of the body, and later the fine details. In the past Ihave used glass eyes for Dragonlings. But lately I find something very charming about the genuine Onyx beads I use for them. Some of the new ones will have hand painted eyes. I have some with closed sleepy eyes, laughing eyes, etc.
